Research Design Decisions
PartialDecisions where the computational architecture exists because of a research or methodological requirement. Engineering choices are labelled separately. Clarifications are not invented names.
Records
| ID | Decision | Kind | Status | Rationale |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| R01 | Three memories stay separated | research | implemented | Quoted: memories must remain strictly separated in responsibility and storage. |
| R02 | Graph data model over BIM hierarchy alone | research | partial | Structural Memory writes :CONNECTS and :SPATIALLY independently of authoring semantics. |
| R03 | Specialised agents under a Planner | research | partial | Sita is defined as a multi-agent system coordinated by a Planner. |
| R04 | Human-in-the-loop is the only decision | research | implemented | human_choice is not on the derivation scale; a run finishes when a person closes it. |
| R05 | Visual Decision Programming as the AI architecture | research | implemented | A ReferenceConfig answers where knowledge came from for every bound run. |
| R06 | Machine-readable graph ≠ human-readable semantic viz | research | partial | Relation bands shipped; eight diagrams planned rather than stubbed. |
| E01 | Seventh epistemic label is rule_derivation | engineering | implemented | Rank 2 sits between real_evidence and synthetic_data. |
| E02 | Geometry engine defaults off | engineering | implemented | Only the exact string occt turns it on. |
| C01 | Step 10 name | clarification | designed | That name is a cross-reference, not a canonical dash-name. |
